2016 Luther Memorial Home Health Care Scholarships


Seven $500 scholarships are awarded annually to high school seniors and college students in or around the Luther Memorial Home Service Area. Applications are reviewed with a focus on the students' goals, aspirations and academic record including: GPA and relevant classes, participation in school, church and community activities. Scholarship applicants must be a senior in a high school or attend college within the Luther Memorial Home service area or be a member of one of the Lutheran church which supports Luther Memorial Home.

Our History


Luther Memorial Home was founded to provide great care for persons in a Christian environment. Our purpose is to provide supportive and rehabilitative care to meet the physical, spiritual, and emotional needs of our wonderful residents. Luther Memorial Home is a non-profit corporation that was founded by 21 area Lutheran churches to provide care to area men and women. Luther Memorial Home was built in 1958 and the first resident was admitted in 1959. Throughout the years, Luther Memorial Home has expanded and remodeled to meet the growing needs of our residents and our community.
